UNIT: American Imperialism (Feb.23-March 24, 2015)

This is our unit plan.  Under the unit plan is a brief outline of what we do in class each day.

I CAN…explain the causes, effects and long-term impact of U.S. involvement in Cuba's independence (Spanish-American War).
I CAN...infer if U.S. intervention abroad between 1890 and 1917 were motivated by realism or by idealism.
I CAN..evaluate if the U.S. expansion & imperialism from 1890 to 1917 was justified.
I CAN...look at one historic event from multiple points of view.
I CAN...analyze primary sources to better understand an historic event.
